Summary:
As a member of a multidisciplinary team, clinical social workers and mental health counselors perform key client services such as client intakes; treatment and discharge planning; individual, group, and family therapy; follow-up activities; and an array of other tasks within the scope of recognized treatment modalities.
Qualifications:
Experience in a community mental health setting or a background in child & adolescent treatment is preferred.
Must possess a Master’s degree in social work or a behavioral health field and be licensed or licensable as an Indiana clinical social worker (LCSW) or mental health counselor (LMHC). The added credential of an LCAC is preferred. LSW’s and LMHC-A’s are strongly preferred among candidates not possessing optimal licensure. If necessary for the assigned program, must possess a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and a registered vehicle.
