SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Clinical Officer, the Children & Family Home/Community-Based Coordinator of DCS Services is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the DCS Services Team.  The Children & Family Home/Community-Based Coordinator mediates and oversees the delivery of all services referred to the agency by the Department of Child Services/Juvenile Probation.  The Children & Family Home/Community-Based Coordinator is ultimately responsible for ensuring all services are provided to DCS-referred clients within the structure of their treatment plans, and in accordance with the DCS service standards, while also supervising homebased case managers.  The Children & Family Home/Community-Based Coordinator will allocate 25-percent of their time to direct client service.

QUALIFICATIONS/DEGREE:

Master’s or Doctorate degree in social work, psychology, or directly-related human services field from an accredited college is required. Two years of post-degree experience, preferably in a community mental health center or working directly with families in the child welfare system required.  Valid Indiana licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, HSPP) preferred.  Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with valid insurance, good driving record, and a registered four-wheeled vehicle.
